Hank has a few basic philosophies with which he lives, as well as encourages:

  • Always learn something new every day of your life. It doesn’t have to be big, but never stop learning.
  • Do something nice or helpful for others daily. Even a small kindness can make another’s day better.
  • Get outside daily. Even better: go for a walk / bike ride, tend to a garden / plants, or enjoy the fresh air.
  • Try to look at the bright side of things. Negativity begets more negativity.
